Dinner with a view – cooking event on fire

On 1st of October Fia Gulliksson was invited by chef Malika as a guest chef at a super hot cooking event by at the Hotel SPA Dr Irena Eris in Krynica Zdroj. The event was called “Dinner with a view”. 60 guest was served a 13 course dinner outside by the foot of the mountain. All dishes where cooked on open fire and all produce where locally sourced. crEATive Östersund – by Food In Action with friends

creEATive Östersund a cultural bonanza  – a gorgeous feast was held in Östersund  on the 15th of September 2016. The party was at five different settings in Östersund brought by more then 90 local, Nordic and international friends in collaboration with Food In Action. Food, drinks, live music, performing art and dancing – all was included.

Nearly 500 guests from all over the world. Delegates attending the UNESCOs Creative Citites annual meeting was participating at crEATive Östersund.

Lena Flaten from Storlien and Flammans Skafferi  – was head chef of the event together with Bri Stundon from Åre Gastronomy Week, assisted the participant food friends from around the world. Together we designed a fun, sustainable, creative feast.

Contributors included the Cultural Kitchen with chef Jyrki Tsutsunen from Finland. Cecilie Dawes from Oslo and Food Studio
will participate with friends from France and from Bøgedal in Denmark. The passionate quartet behind Ches Dinner Norge hosted a seafood experience. From Stockholm on the Big Green Egg, chef KC Wallberg.
Mette  Helbæk from Copenhagen and amazing Stedsans  fell in love with the local vegies! Great chef Jamal Hashi from Brooklyn in NYC- a new found friend we connected with thanks to the Swedish Number cooked up an African storm with products from Jämtland, supported by Matti and Kristof from Slovenia and Katja Nyqvist – previous soux chef at Jazzköket.

Loads of local artisan food- and drink- producers like Oviken Ost, Örtagård Öst, Undersåkers Chark, Gårdscharken i Fågelberget, Ås Trädgård, Wild Spirit and many, many others participateted in different ways.

BRA-flyg Sverige, STUMCongresso and Destination Östersund
have been very supportive in different ways.
Jazzköket, OSD-Storjöteatern, Gamla Teatern, Kafé Badhusparken,
Governor Jöran Hägglund, Simon Jaktlund, Anna Skipper,  Lars Ericsson, Tina Mattsson, Manne MosténCarli Ratcliff comes all the way from Sydney. Wine expert/ writer/DJ Per Styregård will turn vinyls. and Flavia Giordini from Bari in Italy and many more local hosts and helping hands made crEATive Östersund an unforgettable event.
